How much should I budget for air source heat pumps in Lohja?
Published prices across Finland run €1,500–€4,500. €1,500–€3,000 installed — a marketplace’s stated range (urakkamaailma.fi, 21 May 2026). €1,500–€3,500 installed — a vendor’s stated range (aaltoair.fi, 2026). €1,700–€4,500 installed — a vendor’s stated range (kevytremppa.fi, 2026). Some sources price the labour on its own, which is a different product under the same word: €600–€1,350 the installation job alone — median of 31 verified jobs (urakkadiili.fi, 7 January 2026). Can I claim the household tax credit on the installation?
Household tax credit: 35% of the labour share of a company invoice, up to €1,600 per person per year, with a €150 own share (Verohallinto, 10 February 2026). The government has proposed raising this to 40% and €2,100 for 2026–2027, retroactively from 1 January 2026 (HE 113/2026 vp, Eduskunta, 11 June 2026). Parliament has not passed the bill, and the tax administration still writes about it in the conditional (Verohallinto, 16 June 2026).

Is there still a grant for giving up oil heating?
The grant is closed. Applications ended on 25 May 2026 at 16.15, the appropriation was spent in full and over 300 applicants received nothing. It used to pay €4,000 / €2,500 depending on the replacement system (Elinvoimakeskus, 1 September 2026). Giving up oil heating altogether carries an elevated credit of 60% of the labour share, up to €3,500 per person, in force until 31 December 2027 (Verohallinto, 10 February 2026).

What seasonal efficiency should I expect?
The regulatory default seasonal factor is 2.8 (Ympäristöministeriö, 20 December 2017). Once the losses of actually delivering the heat into the rooms are counted, the effective factor is 1.8–3.0, and in one and the same old detached house the annual electricity saving from a single unit ranges 6,420–9,560 kWh on unit quality alone (VTT, 2016). Anyone quoting one number without naming the house and the unit is guessing.
